Who we are on Western Ave

What we do, and what we don't claim

We buy vehicles people are done with: the car that died in a condo garage, or the wagon that's been parked at the curb since spring. Running or not, keys or not, any condition. When you say yes to an offer, we drive our tow truck to the car, hook it up where it's parked and take it from there. We answer the phone from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day at (708) 858-5673.

You won't find a wall of badges or a count of cars bought on this site. We'd rather tell you exactly how a sale works, link the Illinois and City of Chicago rules that apply to it, and let our Google Business Profile reviews speak for the rest. For the record, the business is registered in Illinois as Cash For Junk Cars Northside Chicago Inc.

Why the North Side is the whole focus

Our storefront sits on Western Avenue, on the same stretch as Warren Park, a few blocks north of the shops on Devon Avenue. The pickups around here are rarely a wide driveway. They're permit-zone blocks, alleys behind two-flats, tandem spaces and condo ramps with height limits. That's why every area page on this site talks about parking and local rules first, and why our guides cover things like getting a car out of a building garage and what the city does with abandoned cars.

How we write this site

We publish these guides for people selling a car, not to fill space. When a page states a rule about titles, plates, emissions or parking, it links the official source: the Illinois Secretary of State, the Illinois General Assembly, the City of Chicago, the village codes or the IRS. Rules change, so check the linked page before you act on anything time-sensitive. Photos are stock images credited on our photo credits page; none of them show our own team, yard or trucks.
